I was so honored when my friend (and fellow photographer for Modern Nest Photography) Amy, asked me to do her family photos! We ventured to Ralph Klein Park to do some fall photos and had a blast! We could only get a few shots inside with the really unique light fixtures (they closed it down to the public for a wedding) but those few turned out great. Little Sullivan pretended they were big planets up in the sky! Here are a few of my favs from our modern family fall shoot! Love this sweet family! xo

We wanted to create a nursery for our sweet little Everett that was modern and whimsical, and more or less gender neutral "just in case"! He still sleeps in the cradle in our room, but soon enough he'll be staring up at that elephant mobile as he drifts off to sleep! I was so honored to have Everett's nursery featured on the design blog Apartment Therapy! http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/everetts-grey-white-room-with-vibrant-pops-my-room-188363

I am so in love with these newborn headbands. They are exquisite! After perusing Etsy for a while, I found an amazingly talented woman, Roxana of "Little Diva Boutique", who creates these wonderful vintage inspired/romantic/whimsical headbands. Check our her shop for more amazing finds!

Boudoir is the French word that translates into a womans private sitting room, dressing room, or bedroom. So boudoir photography is a private session that reveals a womans sensual beauty. These types of sessions have come a long way. They used to be cheesy poses and props, but modern boudoir is more about a woman being confident and naturally beautiful the way she is. Many women love to have these photos done as a special gift for their signifigant other, but just as many (and I'm betting more!) woman love to have them done for themselves. It can be a fun, pampering and empowering experience. Here are a few shots from my most recent bridal boudoir/boudoir shoot. She is stunning!!!

I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful couple on the weekend! The afternoon started out with miserable weather and keys locked inside their car! They were really great sports about it all and just rolled with the punches. Luckily by the time we were done shooting, AMA had arrived to let them back into their car! This couple is so in love and thrilled about their upcoming wedding! They are going to make a gorgeous bride and groom! Here are a few shots from our cold winter engagement session-good thing they've got their love to keep them warm! xo
